Blackbird Leys has struggled to break away from its notorious past, is this a result of our acceptance of austerity and inability to act upon it, resulting in patterns of crime and declining employment. 

Are future generations being set up to fail as a consequence of subconsciously fulfilling the misunderstood belief that social housing estates are the homes of the socially disadvantaged and criminal?
